About
Insured Nomads donates to Not For Sale to support regions of the world that are vulnerable to exploitation and human trafficking. Through impact sourcing, we help communities to thrive and prevent their vulnerability to trafficking in the first place. Human trafficking is the fastest growing illegal industry in the world.
Did you know?
Nearly everything we consume — from clothing, to the batteries in our cell phones, to the fish we eat — has forced labor and exploitation hidden somewhere inside its production. Many of us, including the businesses who make the products we buy, have no idea when or where the exploitation occurs. And it’s growing every single day.
Mission
This form of modern-day slavery affects men, women, and children. Traffickers use force, fraud, or coercion to control victims for the purpose of exploitation and forced labor. People who are vulnerable to trafficking include those experiencing economic hardship, lack of social safety net, natural disasters, or political instability. Women and children are disproportionally affected by human trafficking, making up as much as 71 percent of all trafficking victims, including 99 percent of all sexual exploitation.
About 45.8 million
People today are living in slave-like conditions. That’s bigger than the population of California, Canada, or Argentina. Nearly every country on earth is affected, including the United States. And more than $150 billion in profits are generated annually by businesses employing slavery and exploitation.
Building hope: Not For Sale's journey of empowerment around the world

Not For Sale provides children with housing and education in Chiang Rai. Stateless children face difficulties in enrolling in any official Thai school, so struggle to get an education and are aggressively targeted by human traffickers.
Not For Sale partners with Blue Dragon to provide housing, long-term care, education, job training, and crisis support to young boys who have been sexually or otherwise exploited, addressing the resource deficit in services specifically targeted towards male trafficking victims in the country.
Not For Sale partners with Surfers Not Street Children (SNSC) to support street children and those at risk of street connectedness through a program that combines surfing lessons and mentorship, empowering them with important life skills. They also launched initiatives like Girls Surf Too to address the specific vulnerabilities faced by girls on the streets.
Not For Sale in Peru offers a scholarship program for vulnerable children, creates community gardens to promote nutrition and self-sufficiency, establishes fish farms for clean nutrition, provides artisan training and business workshops for women, and supports indigenous communities in sustainably gathering Brazil nuts to increase economic opportunities in the region.
Not For Sale provides survivors of human trafficking with vocational training through programs such as the Dignita Academy, where participants learn professional cooking, barista, and beauty skills, empowering them with the knowledge and skills needed for a dignified job. The profits generated from three Dignita restaurants in Amsterdam support the Dutch Not For Sale foundation’s ongoing efforts to combat trafficking globally.
Not For Sale collaborates with CIYOTA, a non-profit founded by refugee youth, to provide housing, education, and support to trafficked children and those vulnerable to exploitation in the Kyangwali Refugee Camp. They also offer entrepreneurial leadership programs, community service, and support, and invest in social enterprises created by refugees to create safe and stable employment opportunities.

Not For Sale focuses on addressing the issue of children disappearing to exploitation in the Middle East. They provide educational opportunities, human trafficking awareness training, and healthcare for trafficked children or those at high risk.

Not For Sale’s initiative called Krunam is dedicated to combating online trafficking, particularly the issue of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM). They collaborate with technology and business partners to develop advanced AI and deep learning tools, such as the VigilAI CAID Classifier, to detect and identify CSAM more effectively. Their efforts aim to protect survivors, support content moderators, and help businesses maintain their online communities while addressing the global crisis of CSAM.

Why Insured Nomads
We knew, from the start, that we love to protect people. Our protection is more than the health/medical, security and delays of travel but protecting the vulnerable child, the unguarded teenager, the orphan adult that has not had a guard at their side showing them the way.
As a company, before a single sale took place we made a commitment to significant contributions to Not For Sale. Each quarter we will be contributing and ask that you join us when you purchase and with a monthly pledge from your own giving plan.
